We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, our scheduled cleanup event on May 4th and 5th has been cancelled. We understand the importance of these events in our shared commitment to keeping our community clean and vibrant, and we share your disappointment.

The Friends of Pekin Board deeply appreciates the unwavering support and dedication you have shown towards this cause. It is this spirit of community and cooperation that makes our efforts so meaningful.

Come join us tonight at 6:00 at the Pekin Community Park! If the power is still out and weather permits, we may have the meeting outside.

We will be going live tonight at the New Pekin Town Hall Meeting for those who can not attend. For those that want to attend the town hall meeting will be held at 6:00pm at Town Hall.

ATTENTION:

UPDATE 4:40pm SR 335 is now open.

UPDATE at 4:11pm police now have a moving road block as we assist the Wide Load to State Road 60.

State Road 335 is closed from Gobbler K**b Rd to Trainer Ln. A Semi is stuck at the curve at SR 335 and Martinsburg Rd. Please find a different path until the roadway is clear.
