NewParisHistory.Org is a new initiative, spearheaded by current and former New Paris residents, to digitally preserve and archive the town’s history, making it readily available and accessible to all. The website, though still in its infancy, hopes to eventually highlight the town’s many historical aspects, including: natural history and early settlement, landmarks, businesses and organizations, f

amily histories, and other historical points of interest. All are welcome to join and contribute to the initiative. Suggested contributions may include: scanned photos and documents, family histories, commentaries, memoires, audio or written interviews, information about current and past businesses and organizations, and any other material that may be a valuable resource for the community and for future generations.
