We are so excited to share some wonderful news. Yesterday at Plattekill Day, our very own Jean LeRose, the director of the pantry, and her husband Pete were honored as Citizens of the Year.

They shared this recognition with two other incredible couples: Pastor Phil and Jean Johnson from the Christian Community Deliverance Center Food Pantry, and Lory Martin and Jim Del Vescio from the Our Lady of Fatima Food Pantry.

These are the heroes on the front lines, the consistently make sure every family in our community has food on their table. Their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment are what keep our neighbors nourished and supported all year long.

We could not be more proud of own Jean and Pete, as well as each of these remarkable people. Their work embodies the very best of who we are as a community.

And thank you Plattekill for recognizing them!!!

THE GREAT GIVE BACK IS HERE! Helping Hands Food Pantry Inc
Help us make a difference in our community by bringing non-expired, nonperishable food items such as: cereal, pasta, canned fruits & vegetables or canned tuna/chicken, peanut butter & jelly. Plus, Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday foods like gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, canned yams, etc. & hygiene products to the library during regular library hours. Let's win this together!
