🎮🚢 The WIMOs West Kentucky Chapter hosted “Virtual Reality for the Deckhand Role,” an interactive session exploring the use of VR technology in maritime recruiting and outreach.

The presentation featured a live VR demonstration highlighting how immersive experiences can support awareness of deck operations roles and help connect new audiences to maritime career opportunities.

Huge congratulations to WIMOs Southern Louisiana Chapter member and Southern Devall Crewing Coordinator, Leslie Spicer! 🎉

Leslie has been named a 2026 40 Under 40 honoree by The Waterways Journal, recognizing her leadership and impact in the inland marine industry.

Her growth within Southern Devall and her key role on the crewing team highlight the drive, dedication, and professionalism shaping the next generation of industry leaders.
