Just a quick update of the process off setting up camp at the forest farm.
Spring box flowing with clean cold delicious mountain water and ready to be hooked up to the reservoir.
Big steps towards creating and securing a safe and abundant life in reverence to nature.

9 hr days inoculating massive stumps with mushroom spawn for years of fruits to come.
Stumps can take a couple of years to start producing but will keep on going for a decade or more depending on the size of the stump

Springs are so wonderful. They inspire curiosity and imagination. They’re a true source of wealth, beauty, and abundance.
I’ll be farming wasabi along a few other fresh water shade loving crops.

Clearing the way for a 72inch culvert has been both challenging and a lot of fun making sure I don’t fly off the tractor trying to pick up 3k pound rocks with and 8k pound machine. Not a great idea. But couldn’t get anything bigger because it would be too heavy to drive over the culvert. You do what you can, when you can, how you can to put it in the can haha 🤣

Clearing out a 40 year old crushed piggy pin that’s been barely standing with a huge tree fallen on it during Helen.
Cleaning and servicing the forest growing mushrooms and building healthy vibrant soil in the process

Working harder than I ever had! I’m so pumped up it’s hard to stop even tho my body screams Stop now and again when I have to listen and take a seat to contemplate the progress.
Finally got the culvert delivered and the permit process started.
Will have road access soon!

The mountains have been calling me for some years now..
Here I am! Building fires by the creek side making friends with the wild turkeys, the deer and the bears.
Never have I felt so free, never have I felt so open to be wild yet methodically raving out the life I want to live.
Grateful for this moments, grateful for this time on day 3 of a new chapter building a retreat for hikers and people looking to experience peace on earth.
