Founded in 1996 and renewed in 2025, the Krewe of Oshun is an all-inclusive carnival organization celebrating Culture, Community & Legacy.

Oshun was reborn to bring the opportunity to ride in Mardi Gras to everyone, accepting families (members ages 6 and up) and individuals and making Carnival dreams come true. Captain Gian Durand takes pride in honoring and respecting the traditions of New Orleans and Mardi Gras while welcoming innovation and creativity. h of what New Orleans is all about! As Oshun is known as “The Lady of Gold,” you can expect a gilded spectacle of grandeur. The Krewe features floats by Kern Studios and will roll tossing heart-shaped throws to the crowds for the love of New Orleans, for the love of Mardi Gras, for the love of Oshun!

Due to the heavy rain and storms moving through the area, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone Saturday’s Pool Party.

The safety of our members and guests comes first, and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy the event without having to dodge thunderstorms ⛈️ ☔️
