✨ Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day ✨

Today we honor the legacy of Dr. King, a man who dreamed not only of freedom, but of justice lived out courageously in the face of fear.

Dr. King taught that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” In a moment marked by tension, fear, and deep division, may we recommit ourselves to being reconcilers. May we listen, may we love, and choose courage over comfort.

Today and every day, we walk toward the Beloved Community. Rooted in faith, sustained by compassion, and anchored in hope. ✝️

When divisions feel loud and hope feels quiet, the path to reconciliation can seem impossibly long.

But we press on. Not because it’s easy, but because each day we are reminded of our shared humanity and the sacred call to love one another.

Even when the weight feels heavy, keep sowing seeds of justice, love, and reconciliation. 🌿

Bring Your Congregation to the Conversation: Give NOLA Day 2025

TODAY is GiveNOLA Day! 🌍✝️
Mission Reconcile exists to bring churches together—across race, history, and difference—for honest conversations rooted in Scripture, love, and justice.

In 2021, our Path to Reconciliation event in Birmingham brought two churches—one Black, one white—into sacred dialogue. People shared meals, stories, fears, and hopes. One participant said, “This was the first time I talked about race like this at church—it felt like sacred ground.”

✨ Help us create more of these transformative spaces.
🎯 Our goal is $4,000.
⏰ There’s still time to give before midnight!

He is Risen! 🌅
Today, Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus—a powerful reminder of new life, hope, and the call to reconciliation.

At Mission Reconcile, we believe the Church plays a vital role in healing divides across racial, cultural, and religious lines. That work begins with conversation.

🕊️ This spring, we launched our theme: “Bring Your Congregation to the Conversation.” More than a tagline—it’s a call to action.

We’re inviting reconcilers to engage in honest, faith-filled dialogue about race, justice, and what it means to live as one Body in Christ.

Good Friday confronts us with the truth: reconciliation is not cheap.Jesus bore the weight of sin and injustice so we could be made whole.

His death shows us what real love looks like — sacrificial, courageous, committed to the hard work of healing a world that is broken.

If the Church is to be a reconciling body, we must also be willing to bear the cost: to listen deeply, to speak truth to power, to love radically.

This is the holy work of reconciliation
we invite you to join us in. Is your church ready to meet the moment? Let's prepare the table. Bring your congregation in the conversation:

"The church needs to reconcile as well, instead of being separated by how we hear the gospel we should be gathered together to see the gospel through many different eyes, not a white washed view of a Brown Jesus."
— Dear Church, Reconcilers Have to Reconcile!

Unity in diversity reflects the true essence of the gospel.

Let's come together to see through many eyes and embrace the full picture of Christ's love.

The Church was never meant to be a statue to what once was. We're a living body—called to move, to act, to lead.

It’s time to become a movement toward justice, together. Join us in building a future where racial reconciliation isn’t optional—it’s central.

We invite you to partner with us through our person and virtual programming to bring racial reconciliation to your church, in the Deep South and beyond.
