Seasonality matters!

One of the beautiful things about shopping at a farmers market is learning what’s growing right now. Unlike a grocery store, we can’t simply order any fruit or vegetable year-round. What’s available depends on the season, the weather, and what our local farmers are able to grow.

We know seasonality can be new to some of our neighbors, and that’s okay! We’re here to learn together and celebrate what’s fresh, local, and in season. 🥕🍅🥬

We’re committed to making sure our neighbors have access to fresh vegetables and produce at the farmers market. 🥕🥬🍅

With the summer heat making it harder for local vegetables to grow, the FMIA and the Community Farmers Market are working together to bridge the gap and bring more fresh produce to the community.

We’re still looking for our dream veggie farmer—a local farmer who wants to join us and help keep fresh vegetables available for our neighbors.
