For our volunteers, opening a donation box feels a little like opening a present 🎁 —> you never know what book, treasure, piece of art, or musical find might be waiting inside! 😍

Then the real magic begins: unpack → sort → price → organize → box it up → BOOK FAIR! 📚🎉

📚 Symphony Book Fair Warehouse Summer Update ☀️

The Symphony Book Fair Warehouse is now closed for the summer and will reopen for donations on August 25th, 2026. In the meantime, we are still welcoming new volunteers! Join our amazing team and learn how to sort, price, and box books for our annual book fair sale.

📅 Volunteer Days: Tuesdays & Fridays
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

No experience needed! Just bring your love of books and teamwork!

And that’s a wrap! 🎉📚🎶♥️

Symphony Book Fair 2026 has officially come to a close, and our hearts are absolutely FULL! What an incredible few days it’s been!

This event wouldn't be possible without our wonderful community! A massive, heartfelt thank you to UNO and to the phenomenal LPO Volunteers. Our volunteers worked tirelessly at the book fair warehouse for months and months -> sorting, pricing, and packing thousands of books, and then brought that same amazing energy to help set up, run, and pack up the sale itself. You are the backbone of this book fair! 💪

To everyone who helped spread the word about our sale, told a friend, or came out to shop: THANK YOU! 📚🎨 Because of you thousands of books, pieces of artwork, and unique treasures found new homes, all while raising vital funds for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra! 🎶❤️

We hope you had as much fun browsing the tables as we did putting this all together. We're already counting down the days until next year for our 74th Symphony Book Fair Sale! 💙

🎉 WOW! What a fantastic first day at the Symphony Book Fair! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday, we loved seeing so many smiling faces, book lovers, treasure hunters, and supporters of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra! ❤️📚🎶
