r cult followings but have not been previously produced for local audiences. We want audiences, in the New Orleans metropolitan area, who may only be familiar with a title from its book, its movie, or cult-status to be able to experience that work in a brand new way by 'seeing them on stage'. In addition, we will produce original work, focusing on local writers, that fits into our vision and style. Our newest divisions will produce staged readings and top-notch burlesque productions. "See 'Em On Stage: A Production Company" believes in collaboration and networking with other theater companies and theater professionals in order to share and utilize the best resources and talent available and to provide audiences with a unique and satisfying theater-going experience.

One year ago today, See 'Em On Stage opened our production of "Cabaret". Today, we have the pleasure of announcing that "Cabaret" has received FIVE Gambit Big Easy Awards (out of six nominations), making it the most honored production of 2019. One year later, we still look back on this production with great fondness. Not only did we get to a tell a story that is even MORE relevant today, but we created a true partnership between actors, designers, production team members, and visual artists that resulted in a very special and memorable experience. The whole team of "Cabaret" deserves to celebrate these victories, as each one of them, a treasured partner in every aspect of the production, played a part in every one of these wins.

Congratulations to Chad Gearig-Howe for his Best Music Director win, Kali Russell and Christopher Bentivegna for Best Choreography, and Christopher Bentivegna for Best Director of a Musical.

Also, congratulations to our perfectly cast Kali Russell and Clint Johnson for their wins for Best Actress and Actor in a Musical.

Lastly, we want to thank the Big Easy Nominating Committee, along with their leader Jon Broder, who as a group of committed volunteers and theatre lovers, work very hard to celebrate the vibrant New Orleans theatre scene by presenting these honors.

When you say “they” are erasing history by tearing down monuments and statues of racist, awful Americans...by wanting to rename streets and parks and Army bases named after racist, harmful, disgraceful Americans...by banning the racist, harmful confederate flag...whose history are “they” erasing?
Certainly they’re not erasing the horrific history created over 400 years ago in a notoriously unjust country that continues to be so. Because this is hardly something that can be forgotten and certainly not ‘erased’ for the millions of people who are forced to remember it and continue to be forced to live with it day after day in a society who is only just now finally (maybe) starting to wake up.
I feel like perhaps they’re just erasing YOUR comfort with it, which makes you someone who deservedly should feel uncomfortable. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
