Saints & Sinners Lgbtq+ Literary Festival Join us at March 27-29, 2026, for a weekend of LGBTQ+ literary revelry in New Orleans!

Held annually over three days in spring, the Saints & Sinners Literary Festival brings in a lineup of renowned LGBTQ authors, publishers, activists, and emerging writers from all over the country to explore a wide range of topics affecting the art and business of writing. SASFest plays a crucial role in promoting the work of LGBT writers, advancing social justice for the LGBT cause, and upholding our overall mission of keeping the written word alive.

Exciting news for our SASFest friends in New York!

The Publishing Triangle is partnering once again with Penguin Random House’s LGBTQ+ Network to host a Pride Mixer celebrating LGBTQ+ voices in publishing.

Mingle, network, and celebrate LGBTQ+ voices in publishing with members of the Publishing Triangle and Penguin Random House community. Complimentary books will be available while supplies last

We're so excited to announce our judge for the 2027 SASFest Poetry Contest, Ruben Quesada!

Ruben Quesada is a poet, editor, and critic. He is the author of Revelations (2018) and Next Extinct Mammal (2011), and editor of the award-winning, landmark anthology Latinx Poetics: Essays on the Art of Poetry (2023). His early translations of Luis Cernuda in Exiled from the Throne of Night (2008) was published in a limited-edition print. His writing appears in American Poetry Review, Harvard Review, Orion Magazine, Kirkus Reviews, Best American Poetry, and elsewhere in print and online. His poetry collection, Brutal Companion (2024), won the Barrow Street Editors Prize and was recognized as A Notable Book of 2024 by the University of California. In 2025, Goodman Theater commissioned him to write a poem for the premiere of Jordan Harrison's The Antiquities.
