🎾🔥 Excite Tennis Academy at the USTA Foundation Impact Conference – Ga***rd, Texas! 🔥🎾

This week, our Excite Tennis Academy team is in Texas at the USTA Foundation Impact Conference—learning, connecting, and bringing back game-changing strategies for the young people we serve.

We’re not just attending. We’re representing New Orleans.

We’re representing opportunity.

We’re representing what’s possible when sport meets purpose.

As a proud NJTL chapter, this conference allows us to collaborate with leaders from across the country who are using tennis as a vehicle for education, character development, and long-term success. Every session we attend strengthens how we deliver academics + athletics + leadership development back home

The goal?

Bigger impact.

Stronger programming.
More doors opened for our youth.

We’re grateful to the USTA Foundation for creating spaces where organizations like ours can sharpen the saw and stay at the forefront of sport-based youth development.

Leadership Team

Summer Camp Director
Chief Energy Officer
You set the culture, ensure safety, and inspire a team to deliver truly “Insanely Cool” experiences.
Requirements: 5+ years of youth development management experience. Trauma-informed care and neuroscience-based coaching are a plus.
The Role: Oversee 20–100 staff, manage key partnerships, and ensure all program milestones are met. You’re not just managing schedules—you’re creating a ripple effect of positive change in New Orleans.

Assistant Camp Director
The Bridge Between Vision & Ex*****on
Requirements: 3+ years of direct youth programming experience; highly organized and adaptable.
The Role: Support staff training and daily operations. Serve as the go-to for coaches and parents, ensuring a safe, vibrant, high-quality environment for campers ages 6–15.

Coaching Staff:

Coach (College Age & Older)
Instructor. Mentor. Role Model.
Requirements: Currently in college or older with prior youth experience.
The Role: Lead sport or enrichment intensives (Soccer, Tennis, Golf, STEM, or Arts). Implement curriculum, manage group dynamics, and help campers build unshakeable confidence.

Assistant Coach (High School Senior)
The Rising Star
Requirements: High school senior (EAS Ambassador Program).
The Role: Assist lead coaches with drills and activities, earn a stipend, represent EAS in the community, and build leadership skills for college and beyond.

Internship Tiers (LIT Squad)

Level 2 Intern (16+)
The Junior Leader
The Role: Assist with transitions, equipment, and camper engagement. Model professionalism and support younger campers (ages 6–8).

Level 1 Intern (15+)
The Future Leader
The Role: Entry into the workforce. Support daily camp flow, maintain a clean Innovation Center, and participate in LIT Academy leadership sessions focused on growth and community impact.
