Excite All Stars Excite All Stars is a non-profit organization that empowers kids to become leaders that change the wo How would our world be different?

Imagine if every child, no matter their circumstances, had the opportunity to find and nurture their inner greatness. At Excite All Stars, we’ve dedicated our lives to making that a reality. Our mission is to give all kids equal opportunity to find, hone, and maximize their God given talents and become agents of change in their communities. Born in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Excite All Stars began as a much-needed refuge for at-risk kids coping with unimaginable trauma. Fifteen years later, we are still filling critical gaps in our communities with comprehensive leadership development programs that provide exposure to academics, the arts, and athletics. These are life-changing experiences our kids simply do not get anywhere else! To date, we’ve served over 5000 families with over 50,000 hours of programming. And this is only the beginning. From our roots as a New Orleans summer camp, we’ve grown into a 360-degree community support system, with after-school programs, camps, workshops and a virtual learning studio to expand our reach nationwide. But the real impact is our All Stars: who gain the confidence, skills and experience to be champions of change in their communities for generations to come

“Big G. Grandpa Gumbo. World-class chef. The man could turn a kitchen into a celebration and a meal into a memory. Gone since 2005, but every pot I stir, every family gathered ‘round the table — that’s you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day in heaven.”

Happy Father’s Day from Excite All Stars. 💜⭐
Today we honor every father, grandfather, uncle, coach, and mentor who shows up and leads by example. The way you pour into our young All Stars echoes for a lifetime — that’s leadership, and it’s in our DNA.
To the men guiding the next generation in New Orleans: thank you. 🙏🏾

What a night. 🌟
On March 26, more than 120 friends, families, and champions of our young people gathered for the Excite All Stars 2nd Annual All Star Awards — and the room was full of the kind of energy that reminds you exactly why this work matters.
Our deepest thanks to Andrew and SuSu Stall for opening their home and their hearts to host us.
We honored four extraordinary leaders whose lives reflect everything we hope to spark in the next generation:
🌟 Slade Simon — CEO, Gulf Coast Bank
🌟 Kai Harley — Executive Vice President, New Orleans Saints
🌟 Victoria Barnes — Labor & Delivery Nurse & Excite All Stars alumna
🌟 Christopher Douglas — Microsoft
For 19 years, we’ve believed that when you pour into a child in New Orleans East, you don’t just change one life — you start a loop that comes back around. Last night was proof. 💜
