Grounds Krewe has been hard at work this Mardi Gras season, and the impact shows. 💜

Recycle Dat! 2026 Recap:

Diverted over 61,000 pounds total of recyclable material! ♻️💪
 📿 18,646 lbs of beads & throws collected (≈150,000 individual throws) 🥫 6,142 lbs of aluminum recycled (≈196,533 cans) 🍾 34,741 lbs of glass recycled (≈46,056 bottles) ♻️ 1,691 lbs of plastic bottles recycled (≈76,075 bottles)

Sustainable Throw Catalog Highlights:
 🎭 200,000 sustainable throws created & caught 🙌 1,800 volunteers engaged 👑 8 Mardi Gras krewe partners 📈 30% increase in Sustainable Throw Catalog sales from 2025 🎉 9 brand-new sustainable throws unveiled

Since 2019, Grounds Krewe has sold over 780,000 sustainable throws — and the momentum is still going strong!
