We’re hiring! 🌟

Grounds Krewe is looking for a Social Media & Community Events Associate to join our team this fall through Mardi Gras season.

This part-time role runs mid-September 2026 through early February 2027. Our ideal candidate is someone who is organized, creative, people-oriented, and ready to be hands-on in a mission-driven environment.

In this role, you’ll support:
 📱 Social media content creation, posting, and storytelling 🤝 On-site volunteer events and community outreach 🎉 Sustainable Mardi Gras throw assembly & organization 📦 Loading and unloading boxes & materials up to 50 lbs
🚐 Driving a cargo van or moving truck as needed 🌱 General operations support for our sustainability-focused nonprofit

Availability for occasional weekends, evenings, and daytime shifts is required. Position is a hybrid of on-site and in office, with some opportunities for remote work.

Huge thanks to our amazing Ochsner Athletic Training Outreach Program volunteers for making our first volunteer event of the season a success! 🙌 And YES—we’re already crafting throws for Carnival 2027! 😱🎊

Grateful to speak with students in the Ochsner STAR Summer Scholars Program last month! It’s always inspiring to connect with young leaders exploring future careers in science, health and community impact.
