🥎 We’re a little over TWO weeks away from the ASANA Scrimmage!

The NOLA Softball League ASANA Committee is excited to invite everyone out for an afternoon of softball, community, and fun as we get ready to kick off the season.

Whether you’ve played for years or you’re just thinking about picking up a glove, this scrimmage is the perfect chance to meet players, learn about the league, and get some swings in before games begin.

Greetings and Happy Mardi Gras from NSL!

While you are out enjoying the long weekend we just wanted to let everyone know that our Spring 2026 Season is approaching! Recruitment Day this year will be held on Sunday, February 22 from 9am - 11am at Tad Gormley Baseball Field, 250 Roosevelt Mall, City Park, New Orleans. We invite all players of all skill levels to come out if you have any interest in joining or re-joining our league or if you are searching for a team this season!

The regular season takes place on Sunday Mornings from March to June at Plaquemines Parish Government Complex (approx. 10 weeks of play, $100 per player). We are set for a soft start of March 1st with scrimmage games and a live recruitment opportunity, followed by Opening Day on Sunday, March 8th! The full schedule will be released on Friday.

We are saddened to share the passing of Rusty Dempsey, a former member of our community. Rusty played for both the Hit Dats and Tap Dats in the NOLA Softball League, where he was a valued teammate and friend. His time on and off the field left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Information regarding funeral services or a celebration of life will be shared as it becomes available. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and all who played alongside him. 🖤⚾
