GiveNOLA Day is when y'all make camp possible, and we're so thankful. Every dollar counts and no donation is too small! A $10 donation gets us both a 4 square and a 9 square ball; it paid for pencils and notepads while we researched our financial literacy projects; it can purchase enough material for two or three new costumes for our play; it's admission and a drink at the skating rink, it's a week's worth of freezee-pops and so much more!

We are good at building long-lasting relationships with the kids we serve. Summer camp lets our teens show their leadership skills when they work as counselors. And we love it when our college kids come home and volunteer, too!

Any amount you give, from $10 and up, makes you a "unique donor"--- and the GiveNOLA team offers lagniappe prizes for the organizations with the most unique donors. We have been sooooooo close to winning at least an additional $500 the last few years--- and y'all know that makes a huge difference to us!!

Monday we'll be participating in the National Day of Service honoring Dr King! Be there at 10:00 for a hot breakfast, and then we'll split into three teams to collect toilet paper for the homeless, make sack lunches for hungry folks, and decorate placemats for Ronald McDonald House.
