A BIG warm welcome to Randall Frederick as he joins NOLA Wesley as our Campus Minister! Randall spent 12 years as an instructor at Southeastern and BRCC and graduated from Fuller Seminary in '14. He will start Perkins Seminary in Spring '27 as he pursues ordination with the United Methodist Church. Having worked with schools, churches (including Rayne UMC close to campus!), and student organizations for most of his life, he wants people to know they matter. Their ideas matter. And every day is a chance to make the world better for someone else! We're so excited to have Randall here, please say hello if you see him around!

Friends!!!! GIVE NOLA DAY early giving is open!!! Please support our ministry and the AMAZING work it is doing for the students of Tulane and Loyola Universities!

We are trying to build an endowment at Wesley! We currently have a $5000 match if we are able to raise that much. This community is so special to me and I hope you will support us in our plan for our future.

“Worship In Action”- The first Sunday of every month, students from Tulane, Loyola, and Dillard Universities gather together and volunteer throughout New Orleans. This Sunday we were in Central City helping out the Berean Community Center. We built furniture and organized the centers free closet!

A HUGE thank you to Jackie and Tory Cummings (The Iron Fork Kjun Eatery & Market) who provided the most delicious food for our BBQ bringing it all the way from Baton Rouge 😃 seriously! We’re still blown away!!!

Home-made boudin and sausages, BBQ chicken, vegan meatballs, garlic bread, salad, greens, potatoes, fish. The food NEVER STOPPED!!!!!

We are so continually thankful for the people in our community who support us. The Cummings, a family from the Presbytery, have been graciously providing meals for our Sunday worship since 2020. If your family or church are interest in our dinner ministry please DM us. We’d love to get y’all involved 🙂

Todays the day! Like most roofs in New Orleans, our old worn out roof dates back to 2006 - it was last replaced just after hurricane Katrina. Thanks to our generous donors, we reached one of our goals for the capital campaign this month! Our brand new roof is going on today! We’re so excited to take this step for the sustainability of the ministry. Thank you friends, family and supporters!

On this Give NOLA day, we're excited to announce our 2022-23 Capital Campaign. We're so blessed to have an amazing building that is our home right on Freret St. in the heart of the Uptown University district. We've had a few big changes over the last few years, including launching The Labyrinth café, a new Campus Minister, Rev. Zoe Garry, and a new cafe manager, Carrie Stuckwisch. With these changes have come a lot of fresh, exciting momentum, and we have many plans for the continuation and expansion of our ministry! Most importantly, we are tasked with caring for our building for years to come. You're invited to take part! Check it out at the link below:

NOLA Wesley provides an accessible, welcoming, inclusive, Christ-centered community for students in their uniquely formative college years. We're known as the only LGBT-affirming ministry on the Tulane and Loyola campuses. Our pay-what-you-can caf...
