The Outdoor Service Guides (formerly BPSA-US) was formed in 2006 as a traditional independent scouting association. We offer a co-ed, all ages, nondiscriminatory back-to-basics program based upon the original principles and model established by Robert Baden-Powell in England in 1907. We are one of a large number of B-P Traditional Scouting Associations around the world, including our partners in C

anada, Mexico, and our associates in the UK. We are also part of the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS), putting our Scouts in touch with the international Scouting movement and its members. The Outdoor Service Guides is not affiliated with other Scouting organizations in the United States. Our aim is to promote good citizenship and wholesome physical/mental development in the outdoors though discipline, self-reliance, loyalty, useful skills and training in habits of observation. A game that should be open to be played by anyone.
