Walking the Crescent City Classic One Beer at a Time. We are the largest all male walking, drinking & costume wearing krewe!

In 2008 3 friends decided that they needed to exercise in a fashion that would fit their lifestyles. Thus started a 6.2 mile journey through the streets of New Orleans known as the Crescent City Classic. A keg of beer was carted throughout the route to ensure hydration to the participants, and goofy hats were worn to address the formality of the situation. In years to follow, the walkers would gro

wn in numbers and the costumes and cart would grow more elaborate. This is the Crescent City Closers.
