Please join us in congratulating this semester's cohort of Outdoor Adventure Club interns!
🥳🥳🥳

These teens stepped up to the challenge to try new outdoor activities, increase their technical and interpersonal skills, meet new people, and learn about the many facets of outdoor adventure education.

Along with their weekly and monthly outings, interns completed skills-based checklists to earn Level 1, 2, or 3 standing within the internship program. Each semester in the internship program comes with a new level of challenge and increased skillets to demonstrate.

Many of our Level 2 and 3 interns completed an additional project to deepen their understanding of an outdoor principle discussed this semester. These projects ranged from environmental awareness to Wilderness First Aid and beyond.

Well done, Fall Semester Crew!!! 👏

Hello LOOP friends and supporters,

One of our Outdoor Adventure Club high school interns was the victim of a hit and run in November. She's recovering well, but the injuries are still pretty serious.

She's back home from the hospital at this point, but she's still got a long road ahead of her to full recovery.

Despite the rain, this year's Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt was a blast!

Thanks to all the families who dodged the storms, rescheduled their time slots, and enjoyed the sunshine while we had it. Even with the weather issues, this was one of our most successful FUNdraising events to date!

We love hosting this family-friendly Halloween event each year, and we're already looking forward to next year 💚

Scallywagosaurus was the most popular pirate this weekend! Though he didn't steal the treasure, he certainly stole our hearts 🏴‍☠️🦖

Thanks again to all of our volunteers who came out this weekend to don consumes and make the Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt so much fun!

This event is our biggest FUNdraiser of the year, and we couldn't do it without the help of our volunteers. Many thanks for coming together to create a memorable experience supporting New Orleans outdoor youth programs.
