The Krewe of Morpheus is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert Grisham, King Morpheus XXIII.

After a courageous and difficult journey over the past two months, Robert was unable to overcome the challenges his body faced following recent surgery and subsequent procedures. His passing is a tremendous loss to our organization and to all who knew him.

Robert was a longtime, active, and dedicated member of the Krewe, and a wonderful friend to many. Beyond his contributions to Morpheus, he was a devoted father of two, a proud “Grumpy” to four, and the loving partner of Richard Gilbert for the past 24 years.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his presence, his commitment, and the love he shared so freely. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family, Richard, and all who mourn his loss.
