Serving the HIV/AIDS population of New Orleans, Belle Reve was the first 501(c)3 non-profit, assisted living facility of its kind to be licensed in the State of Louisiana. Chartered in September 1992 and opening its doors in March 1993, Belle Reve has provided a home and full support services for low-income and homeless adults and families living with HIV/AIDS.

is pleased to announce it is a recipient of a LGBTQ Fund award for 2026. The recent round of grants to local nonprofits will enhance support to the LGBTQ community by expanding access to critical services, strengthening community connections, providing education and advocacy, and creating safe, affirming spaces where people can thrive. Congratulations to all area recipients!
The purpose of is to provide LGBTQ-affirming, affordable housing opportunities and supportive services consistent with the principles of diversity, respect and dignity.

On this , we want to tell you more about Belle Reve and how your donation will continue to support our mission. Belle Reve serves as the foundation for a healthy, welcoming and engaged community of seniors age 62+, connecting residents to a variety of resources, services and programs in the community that address their current and future needs, including informational referrals, help with benefit
and entitlement assistance and access to psychosocial support groups: NA/AA meetings, bereavement
therapy being examples, while engaging community partners to provide a variety of additional programs
and services on site – supplemental nutrition/food pantry, financial and computer literacy, library book
club, health and wellness activities, etc. Thank you for your continued support!
