As we close out the year, we’re taking a moment to honor what we built together. 🌿
In 2025, Yemaya’s Village supported families through birth, trained doulas, distributed essential supplies, launched our contingency fund, and created space for young people to learn about their bodies with care and truth.

In 2026, we’ll be pausing active operations to regroup, reflect, and re-align our collective goals—so we can continue showing up in ways that truly meet our community where they are.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this village. This work is only possible because of you. 🤍
Care is a community practice.

Advocacy and collective Action brings about healing, but so does Joy. While out and about, as you continue to advocate for the reproductive justice of black birthing folk remember to share a smile, spread a little joy. It not only heals the person you’re sharing it with, but also heals you in ways you didn’t know you needed.
