The Preservation Hall Foundation protects, preserves and perpetuates New Orleans music through engaging and supporting musicians; providing support and services to elder members of our Collective; conserving and sharing jazz music archives and spaces; providing educational experiences for students, families and the general public; and grant-making to recognize merit and/or alleviate need. reet, Preservation Hall presents intimate, traditional New Orleans Jazz concerts over 350 nights a year pre-pandemic – featuring ensembles from a current collective of 60+ local master musicians. On any given night, audiences bear joyful witness to the evolution of this venerable and living tradition.
