WHAT'S IN A NAME:
The Outcasts Fishing Club was established in 2018 with the objective to restore a neighborhood fishing tournament that had ceased to operate some years before. Members from the club that previously hosted the event joined together with newcomers to bring about a new look, feel and fresh approach that would eventually become known as the Outcasts Saltwater Shootout.

We’re a group of like-minded, working class individuals dedicated to connecting and serving the urban anglers of New Orleans by bonding over the love of fishing. Whether its monthly membership meetings where members share friendship, camaraderie and community spirit, or learning from each other and having fun while fishing year-round.
