Exciting News from the Algiers Point Men’s Club!

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with the Algiers Point Free Lil’ Pantry!

Starting this Saturday and continuing every Saturday for the next year, we’ll be ensuring that the pantry is well-stocked with essential items for our community. The pantry is raising the funds and we are stocking the pantries. Together, we’re making a positive impact and supporting our neighbors in need.

As always, if you find yourself having extra food or funds laying around, the pantry could always use more love!

This past Saturday, members of the Algiers Point Men’s Club rolled up their sleeves and cleared trash and debris from storm drains throughout the neighborhood.

While our efforts will certainly help as hurricane season approaches, keeping the drains clear is a community-wide job. If you notice litter, leaves, or dirt accumulating around the drains near your home, a quick cleanup can make a big difference.

A large amount of the men’s club crew spent the morning clearing out catch basins around the neighborhood. A much needed task! Special thanks to Nighthawk Napoletana for the waters to keep them hydrated.

Great day collecting household hazardous waste and electronics and properly disposing of it for our neighbors! Thank you to our volunteers for collecting and disposing across da river (Roger, Tyler, Dan & Russell, and Scot for the Tundra loan!) and our neighbors for participating! See y'all again next year!
