Pat Dolan was much more than a collaborator to Team Gleason. He was a trusted advisor, an innovator, and most importantly, a dear friend.

Pat was an incredible asset to Team Gleason and the ALS community. After his ALS diagnosis in 2016, he dedicated his decades of GIS expertise to helping others, using mapping, data, and technology to improve care, advance research, and create greater access for people living with ALS.

Pat generously shared his expertise with Team Gleason through our committees, data mapping, innovation projects, technology development, and meetings with partners like Tobii Dynavox. Most recently, Pat and his wife, Mara, helped beta test several projects, and Pat worked with Tolt Technologies and Team Gleason on the Apple Vision Pro Drive project.

Pat didn't just imagine how technology could better serve people with ALS, he helped make it happen.

We are incredibly grateful for Pat's guidance, generosity, friendship, and lasting impact. Our hearts are with Mara, his family, and everyone who loved him.

We'll miss you, Pat. Thank you for everything you gave to Team Gleason and the ALS community. Your impact will live on.

It’s David’s birthday! 🎉

As our Chief Strategy Officer, David is passionate about moving the needle for people living with ALS and the families who care for them.

He leads efforts to elevate the foundation’s national presence through strategic partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and long-range planning. He is passionate about building relationships and bringing people together to make a lasting impact in the ALS community.

We’re so thankful for his leadership and all he does for Team Gleason and the ALS community.

🎉 What an unforgettable evening! Together, we raised over $599,000 in support of Team Gleason’s mission.

On behalf of everyone at Team Gleason, thank you for being part of the 14th Annual Gleason Gras, presented by SolutionBased. Your generosity, enthusiasm and unwavering No White Flags spirit helped make this year’s event truly extraordinary.

Because of this incredible community, we’re able to continue providing life-changing technology, equipment, services and support to people living with ALS and their families. A special thank you to our Host Committee, led by our Mission Champions, Adam and Julia Stellar, whose leadership, energy and commitment helped make this our most successful Gleason Gras yet. To every sponsor, donor, guest, volunteer and partner in our mission, we’re so grateful for the role you played in making Friday night possible.

From coming together in support of our mission to honoring our Enduring Impact Award recipient, Jenny Lay-Flurrie, Friday night was a powerful reminder of the extraordinary community behind Team Gleason.

This year’s Gleason Gras marked the official launch of 15 Years of Impact, a milestone year recognizing the people, progress and community that have shaped Team Gleason’s journey. Throughout the coming year, we’ll share the stories and milestones that have defined our first 15 years while looking ahead to the possibilities we can create for people living with ALS.

Steve said it best, “I don’t see tonight as a victory lap, for these first fifteen years. Tonight is a handoff of the baton, to all of you, to help shape what comes next.”

🌟And there’s more to come: Save the date for Gleason Gras 15 on October 8, 2027, at Mardi Gras World! We’ll bring this milestone year full circle with our biggest Gleason Gras yet, building on the incredible momentum of Friday night.

Thank you for believing in our mission and being part of such a memorable evening. We’re grateful for all we’ve accomplished together and even more determined about what’s ahead.

Sarah’s Team Gleason Adventure to Temecula was a trip filled with beautiful moments, but it also carried a much deeper meaning. After losing her son unexpectedly and receiving an ALS diagnosis just weeks later, getting to visit the place he had once dreamed of taking her became a meaningful way to feel connected to him.

During a vineyard tour, Sarah experienced a moment that made the trip especially meaningful: “The magical moment of that was it was like talking to our son, all of his methods and philosophies about w**e making were so similar to his with C***r making. Considering the nature of the trip, it made it so special.”
