REUNION WEEKEND LOOKED GOOD ON Y’ALL!

A huge congratulations to our phenomenal chapter members from the Spelman classes ending in 1 and 6 who celebrated their reunion weekend this past weekend!!!

From reconnecting with classmates to reliving unforgettable memories and creating new ones, your reunion celebrations were a beautiful reminder that the Spelman sisterhood only grows stronger with time.

We also celebrate the remarkable leadership that shaped your Spelman experience—honoring the eras of Presidents Donald M. Stewart, Johnnetta Betsch Cole, and Beverly Daniel Tatum, whose vision and commitment helped cultivate generations of Black women leaders.

We loved seeing the joy, the fashion, the fellowship, and the unforgettable Spelman energy all weekend long!

👇🏽 Drop your reunion year in the comments and show some love to your classmates! 🩵

🌟 Member Monday Spotlight: Jillian, C’2022🌟

Introducing Jillian Jackson, a proud native of Memphis, TN, and a 2022 Phi Beta Kappa, summa cm laude graduate of Spelman College graduate. Jillian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Spelman and Spanish minor in Spelman’s Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program and will earn her Juris Doctorate from the Tulane University School of Law on May 16, 2026.

Jillian recently received the Dr. King Student Leadership Award from Tulane University — an honor recognizing students whose service, scholarship, and leadership reflect a deep commitment to justice and community.

While at Spelman College, Jillian served as the 80th Student Government Association President — and she currently serves as the 3L Class President at Tulane Law. Her work spans civil rights advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement, including service in the Civil Rights & Federal Practice Clinic and internships supporting equal justice initiatives.

In her senior year at Spelman College, Jillian introduced onstage President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris when they traveled to Atlanta to address the urgent need for voting rights legislation. As Jillian introduced President Biden and Vice President Harris she reminded her fellow students it was their “duty as campus leaders and change agents to combat voter discrimination on behalf of their peers and [their] community.”

Besides serving in student government, Jillian has been part of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society, URGE (Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity), and Fair Fight U, joining other students supporting Stacey Abrams’s Fair Fight organization as they fight for free and fair elections, encourage voter participation, and educate voters about elections and their voting rights.

Jillian is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sorority, Incorporated, and Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.

We’re proud to honor Jillian and her commitment to service, scholarship, leadership, justice and voting rights which reflect her commitment to community and excellence. 🩵 💼 ⚖️ 🩵
