Brady Duncan, a local teen, is a pediatric brain cancer survivor, in part due to over 30 blood transfusions he received during his treatment. The supplies collected by Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans, Louise S. McGehee School and Stuart Hall School for Boys, as well as by the staff of Gottsegen Orthodontics, are loaded up and hitting the road with ResQue to be delivered to hurricane victims in North Caroline and Florida. Huge thanks to Robert Laurent for his tireless assistance and to Andrew Herrington and his company, MedRx logistics, for facilitating the truck, transport and dropoff of this huge shipment. New Orleans folks always step up when duty calls - love our community!

The students, faculty and staff of Stuart Hall School for Boys collected over 1700 pairs of socks and underwear for the victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. ResQue will be transporting these, along with supplies collected by other local schools, to North Carolina and Florida this week. What an awesome effort - great values are being instilled at Stuart Hall!

What a fantastic effort by Stuart Hall School for Boys - thanks to your community for this amazing effort. All of these supplies will be shipped to North Carolina this week!

One of Stuart Hall's core values we instill in our boys is Honor. Honor springs from sensitivity to the needs of others. It is character development within each child by building respect, integrity, and honesty. Together, the Stuart Hall Community collected close to 1,700 pairs of socks and underwear for those impacted by the recent hurricane.

Thank you, Dr. Brad Gottsegen and Robert Laurent from ResQue, for rallying our local community to help our friends in Florida and North Carolina!

ResQue is partnering with several local schools to collect household/cleanup supplies and personal hygiene items which we’ll deliver to the hurricane-affected areas in North Carolina and Florida. Please let me know if your child’s school might be interested in participating or if you have anything you’d like to add to the collection.
