UNO Service Coalition We serve as the connection between volunteers, student groups, non-profits, and service providers.

The Service Coalition is a conglomeration of volunteers and student groups collaborating with non-profits and community service providers to fix long-term environmental, social, and economic problems in the New Orleans area. Had a blast saving the environment this semester with some great Champions of Sustainability! We took out 30 bags of recycling and awarded our participants some great prizes!! Recycling is handled 100% by students on campus so if you are interested in helping reduce our carbon footprint please let us know! We are planning a great time in the Spring and want to double our pickup!

Our first service day at the LASPCA was even more fun than we expected! We socialized animals to help in the adoption process, and even helped with administrative work to help keep the SPCA great!

TOMORROW, Feb. 2:
The NO/AIDS Task Force will be parked in front of the University Center ALL DAY to give FREE HIV TESTS.

FRIDAY, Feb. 3 at 3:00pm in Math Building 102:
Unity will be hosting some doctors who work with PrEP. They will be speaking about HIV in both the New Orleans and q***r communities.

All are welcome to attend!
