Community Sailing New Orleans We offer free and low-cost sailing classes for youth, adult, and adaptive sailors, using sailing as a platform for education, career and personal development.

We work to make sailing and Lake Pontchartrain accessible to all - come sail with us! Community Sailing New Orleans positively impacts lives by providing accessible educational, recreational, and career development opportunities on Lake Pontchartrain for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities with an emphasis on serving low and moderate income and minority communities in the area by provid

ing access to a community asset that has been historically inaccessible to those large segments of the population. We have programming for everyone with a special focus on youth, individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, military Veterans, and anyone facing economic barriers to sailing. Community Sailing New Orleans is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

⛵️ Join Us for a Special First Aid at Sea Course! 🩹

We’re excited to host a Wilderness First Aid course with Longleaf Wilderness Medicine on September 19–20 at CSNO. Whether you’re on a hiking trail or out on the water, first aid in the wild requires special training and quick thinking. This is a great opportunity to build first aid skills and gain confidence handling emergencies away from immediate medical care. If you've ever wondered “What do we do if this happens on the boat?” -- this course is for you!
