Copied from a friend who is also an attorney-I believe the statement “tomorrow” was meant for a few days ago in any event I am copying what my friend wrote.

I went to my Chemo Oncologist Appointment today. Still cancer free and counting for 9 years now.

I need all my Surviving Sisters to please question and do your own research on medical treatments and/or medicines your doctors suggest you take or get back on. What work's for one person may or may not work for another person. Get educated on everything that has anything to do with your life.

I was highly upset when I left the doctor's office today. He suggested and tried to insist that I get back on Tamoxifen after being off it for over 3 years. He stated that since my Cancer was so bad that I should get back on the Tamoxifen to prevent the Cancer from coming back years from now. I don't know about you, but at this point, that doesn't make sense to me! Tamoxifen has too many side effects that I'm not willing to endure again. And besides, I don't know what other side effects I will put on my body short term or long term. It's bad enough I'm in pain every day of my life because I have severe Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathy, now he wants me to endure more issues! No thanks... I'm good without it.
