Today, the Pontchartrain (LA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hosted its Reproductive & Maternal Health Summit at Xavier University. Special shout out to the for partnering with us.

A special thank you to our panelists, Dr. Veronica Gillispie-Bell and the Honorable Delisha Boyd, for sharing their knowledge and perspectives, and to Gina Swanson for moderating such an important conversation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we discussed reproductive health, maternal health and improving outcomes for women and families in our community.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀 and we’re continuing our commitment to early detection, education and action.

Links in Pink, the Pontchartrain (LA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s signature initiative in the fight against breast cancer, returns in partnership with Ochsner Baptist and the Gia Maione Prima Foundation, Inc.—providing no-cost mammograms with same-day results. 💗

Because early detection can save lives, we’re encouraging women in our community to prioritize their health and get screened.
