Hi folks! Carnival is upon us!! There have been some inquiries into rolling this year with KoLD! We’re stoked for the interest. It’s getting VERY CLOSE. This year’s parade rolls Saturday, January 20th! As in ONE WEEK AWAY! There are 2 dues that must be paid to roll. The fee for the Krewe of Chewbacchus that gets you a wristband to roll and into the Chewbacchanal after party is $82 and can be paid and a wristband received until the 19th. Dues for this year’s Krewe of Living Dead (KoLD) are $50.

KoLD’s theme this year is Movie Monsters! Pretty much any monster or supernatural villain can be used as inspiration and you’ll fit the theme!

A few pics of a custom coffin set piece given to us by Mark Hava. We added some partitions, made the middle into a cooler and used the end spaces to hold throws and personal belongings. This contraption also help our generator, digital banner sign and anything else we needed to “put away.” Gotta have a “catch all contraption”! This year’s contraptions would not have been rolling if not for Jonny Bzombie Bullard, Don Asay, Simonette Berry-Whatley, David O Whatley, Chuck Lucia, Sean Woods, Ariel Moon, Laura van Aken and a special shout out to Bryan Toye for swingin through and giving us a thumbs up on our electrical work.
