I believe in the idea of honoring stories of the past. I also think it is important respect our environment and reuse resources when possible. My grandmother was a hat lady, and I believe every strong head should feature a hat that reflects the unique identity of the wearer. Cajun Kimchi is a collection of vintage hats that have bee

n gussied-up with a little facelift so that the hat is new to you, yet still carries the stories of the life it once lived. These hats already have a story and life they have lived; yet when you you take it upon your crown, the two of you embark on a new journey together which also honors the past story. Why the name? Cajun Kimchi is the unification of two worlds that collided to create who I am. Watch the video below to understand more:

For the past year, I have been propagating and liberating native plants from other wild places around town to come live in my food forest. And now, all the madness makes sense.
My dad has been growing food and fruit trees my entire life, and I always admired his green thumb. I have eight fruit trees in my yard because growing trees is an investment in the future.
I adore my backyard jungle oasis.

Silver = 50+ native plants!
