TAG SOMEONE YOU WANT TO GARDEN WITH THIS WEEKEND!

Grab a friend and come join us & the Native Plant Institute in a day of planting at Green Light- this Sunday, Feb. 8th from 9AM-1PM! All people & experience levels are welcome, but come dressed to work and garden (sturdy, close-toed shoes, clothes that can get messy, sun protection, a refillable water bottle, of course & bring gardening gloves if you’ve got them). We’ll be digging, moving sand/glass gravel, and planting.

🌧️💚We’re thrilled to share that Green Light New Orleans has been selected as a recipient of the Louisiana Gulf Coast Grantmaking Project through !

This support allows us to provide rain barrels to 200 of our most flood-prone applicants, helping families reduce flooding and build climate resilience. We’re already getting started and couldn’t be more grateful for this partnership and investment in our community.
