Today, we celebrate the power of service, leadership, and community.
From training teens to become Safe Sitters® and providing diapers, period supplies, and adult incontinence products to neighbors in need, to contributing thousands of volunteer hours throughout our community, the Junior League of New Orleans is committed to making a meaningful difference.

We’re also investing in what comes next—developing future community leaders through Get on Board and the Women’s Leadership Summit and supporting women as they grow their businesses, pursue their education, and reach their goals.

Through it all, the Junior League of New Orleans continues to find and foster good, strengthening our community and the lives of those we serve.

Find the Good Day is a reminder to recognize the positive impact happening all around us, from small acts of kindness to transformative community initiatives. Together, we are building stronger communities, creating opportunities, and inspiring change that lasts far beyond today. ✨

As we celebrate, we encourage you to take a moment to find the good in your community, share it with others, and join us in making a difference.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, JLNO is proud to celebrate leaders who are actively shaping a brighter future in Greater New Orleans. 🎉

We are pleased to recognize Mayra Pineda, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana, for her achievements. From strengthening business ties between Louisiana and Latin America to her diplomatic service as the former Consul General of Honduras, her career is defined by dedication and excellence. Mrs. Pineda's extensive list of accolades - including as a SBA Minority Business Champion, CityBusiness Woman of the Year, and New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation Leadership Award recipient - is a testament to her tireless advocacy and empowerment of the business community.

This week, we’re raising awareness about a basic need that makes a big difference for local families: 🧷 DIAPERS 🧷

Right now, 1 in 2 families in our community struggle to afford enough diapers for their babies.

Here’s how you can get involved:

🍕Get pizza at Reginelli’s on Tuesday, 9/15 and mention the Junior League of New Orleans

Today, the Junior League of New Orleans joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the bravery of the first responders, service members and everyday citizens who stepped forward in the face of tragedy.

As we reflect on this day 25 years later, we remember the strength found in compassion, service, and unity, and the enduring importance of coming together to care for one another.

Today, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.
