There is still time to give. Court Watch NOLA is a home for people who believe accountability is not abstract – it is something we build together. Every volunteer hour, every courtroom note, every report, every coalition meeting, and every public call for transparency moves us closer to the court system New Orleans deserves.

GiveNOLA Day is here! Today, Court Watch NOLA is raising $4,000 to keep community accountability in the courts. You may know us by our yellow clipboards, but our work goes far beyond observation. CWN turns what volunteers see in court into reports, advocacy, coalition action, and public education that help push our courts toward transparency and fairness. Make your GiveNOLA Day gift now.

GiveNOLA Day is tomorrow. 💛

At a time of transition and uncertainty in the courts, community oversight is essential.

CWN is working to bring consistency, transparency, and public accountability to the Orleans Parish Criminal Court. We are also standing with partners to protect the independence of New Orleans courts and ensure that people across Louisiana have fair and equal access to justice.

This is what happens beyond the yellow clipboards: court observation becomes public reporting, media response, coalition advocacy, and a stronger community voice.
CWN is raising $4,000 for GiveNOLA Day. Please make an early gift today or plan to give tomorrow. Every gift helps us keep showing up – in court, in coalition, and in the public conversation. ⚖️

Beyond the yellow clipboards, CWN works in coalition. 💛
Court accountability takes more than one organization. It takes volunteers, advocates, attorneys, organizers, and community members working together to make the system more transparent, accessible, and fair.
CWN’s work begins with court observation, but it grows through partnership. We bring what we learn in court into broader community efforts, including public education, partner advocacy, and community-centered work like warrant clinics.
That matters because what happens in court does not stay in court. Court practices can affect a person’s housing, employment, family stability, safety, and ability to move forward.
This GiveNOLA Day, help CWN continue showing up – in court, in coalition, and in the community.
Donate today and help us reach our $4,000 goal by May 5. ⚖️

Court watching can lead to real change. ⚖️
CWN court watchers observed a troubling pattern affecting domestic violence survivors in court. Their observations raised important questions about survivor safety, support, and legal exposure – and CWN brought those concerns into advocacy spaces with partners.
That work helped support the creation of a victim advocate role in court.
This is what we mean when we say our work goes beyond the yellow clipboards. Court observation is not just about documenting what happens in the moment. It is about noticing patterns, asking the right questions, and bringing community-based observations into the spaces where change can happen.
Observation becomes data.
Data becomes advocacy.
Advocacy becomes change.
This GiveNOLA Day, help CWN continue turning court observation into action. Donate today and help us reach our $4,000 goal by May 5. 💛
