“For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility…” If you’re feeling overwhelmed or overburdened today, take a few moments to breathe and meditate on this truth from Ephesians 2 and what that really means for us: that Jesus is our peace, steadfast, unchanging peace.

Finding hope in the pain and suffering in life can be hard when you can’t see a way out. We are here to provide you with a harbor of hope.

When you first begin counseling, it is really hard to hope that life and relationships can be better. So, your counselor will hope for you. As you see God bring about changes in your life through the process of counseling, your own hope will grow.

To begin, call us at 504-913-5039.

“We are workers, not master builders;
ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future that is not our own.” On this All Saints’ Day, we remember that great cloud of witnesses that has gone before us. The passion and work of Archbishop Óscar Romero is especially poignant, and we reflect on the words his life inspired

One of my favorite saint quotes of all time. 🖤 All your big feelings and your sensitivity is a gift to the world.

Take some time to reflect. Slowing down, calming your mind and regular self-reflection can benefit your mental health.

Think deeply on the emotion, memory, or event at hand and be honest with yourself. With self-reflection comes self-awareness. A self-aware person gains clarity, emotional intelligence, self-control, and confidence.

It takes time to process and learn new coping habits but well worth the investment
