Search Party

Some crowded rooms are
Filled with lonely people
Searching for happiness
In a bottle ofTequila

Wearing masks of perfection
They glide through crowds
Without notice or detection
Yet the ache of loneliness is loud

Do not be easily convinced
By what you think you see
There are things beyond our
Sight
Guarding our lives,protecting our destiny

Grand Angels that were there for our first heartbeat
Standing guard until we take our last breath
Don’t be convinced by what you don’t see
If you’re still breathing ,you haven’t been left

You were plucked by the fingers of love
You have a legacy on this earth
There’s nothing on this planet
That can compare to what your worth.

There are crowded places
Filled with lonely people
Searching for happiness
Everywhere but where they need to.
