A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last week for our Artist + Model Meet & Greet at the beautiful Hotel Saint Vincent.

The room was filled with so much creativity, confidence, connection, and excitement. Seeing artists, models, supporters, and members of our community come together reminded us exactly why we are so passionate about creating spaces where talent can be seen, celebrated, and inspired.

We are incredibly grateful to Hotel Saint Vincent for providing such a stunning setting, and to every person who showed up, shared their energy, made new connections, and helped make the evening so special. Your support means more than we can say.

The meet and greet was only the beginning and we truly could not be more excited for Nov 22nd! We cannot wait to continue celebrating the incredible people behind this movement and bring even more beauty, artistry, and unforgettable moments to life.

Today we’re celebrating Ms. Melissa Coleman of New Orleans for her incredible support of Fleur de Bra. Melissa is the Director of Business Development at Coleman Dermatology and online is Mel Coleman. Melissa modeled for FDB in 2023 and shifted her focus to designing in 2024.

Her generosity makes a real difference. Thanks to her contributions of $49,511 in 2025, our beneficiary, Breastoration, was able to provide resources, confidence, and care to those who need it most in Louisiana: women undergoing breast reconstruction after mastectomy surgery.

This is what community looks like. This is what compassion in action looks like.

“I would be honored to participate as a model in the 2026 Fleur de bra as a way to share a story of resilience, motherhood, and moving forward. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2025 during my second trimester of pregnancy. Soon after, I underwent a successful lumpectomy with clear margins. After the baby arrives (due end of April 2026), I’ll continue cancer treatment with a double mastectomy and expect to be healed by November. I’ve included a link to recent maternity photos as I don’t have a very active personal Instagram account. Thank you for the consideration!” - Brooke Gasaway

“As a little girl, dressing up for events in New Orleans was always the time I felt most myself. This city and the people in it sparked my passion for design which has become a career in fashion. I now reside in Bozeman, Montana, so participating in this project I have followed for years (as I previously worked for past artist Nicole Paloma) in my home would be very special. This project is also impactful to me as multiple women in my life have struggled with breast cancer and the confidence challenges that come even after winning fight.” Clothing Design by Candi Gordon
