“As a little girl, dressing up for events in New Orleans was always the time I felt most myself. This city and the people in it sparked my passion for design which has become a career in fashion. I now reside in Bozeman, Montana, so participating in this project I have followed for years (as I previously worked for past artist Nicole Paloma) in my home would be very special. This project is also impactful to me as multiple women in my life have struggled with breast cancer and the confidence challenges that come even after winning fight.” Clothing Design by Candi Gordon

Next up…the lovely artist Stephanie Lush Magnolia and 𝐒 𝐖 𝐀 𝐓 𝐇 𝐈 ✚ 𝐍 𝐀 𝐑 𝐑 𝐀 as her beautiful model.

Lush Magnolia is a New Orleans-based botanical resin art studio creating custom heirloom pieces from preserved flowers, wood, and mixed materials. From wedding bouquet preservation to memorial florals and one-of-a-kind home decor, every commission is designed to turn sentimental blooms into lasting art.

Specializing in custom work, the studio offers everything from decorative trays and bookends to tables, wall art, and small keepsakes, with each piece thoughtfully made to reflect the client’s story. Based in New Orleans and booking commissions by appointment, Lush Magnolia blends craftsmanship, creativity, and preservation into functional art.

Romey Roe is the next artist to announce for FDB 2026. He will be dressing Lacey Goss and we are beyond excited to see this design.

Romey Roe is a New Orleans–based luxury eveningwear designer known for creating bespoke, made-to-measure pieces that blend modern sophistication with Southern charm. Drawing inspiration from heritage, craftsmanship, and the women who wear his designs, Roe has built a brand rooted in attainable luxury and timeless elegance. His work has been showcased at major fashion events and worn on some of the biggest red carpets, establishing him as a rising creative force in fashion.

Lacey Goss is a New Orleans native and former attorney who now embraces life at home with her family. With a professional background rooted in law and a deep connection to the city she loves, she brings both poise and warmth to every role she takes on. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Lacey balances family life with the same grace and purpose that shaped her career, making her a thoughtful and inspiring presence in the New Orleans community.

Hillary Sampliner is joining us as an artist for FDB 2026 and will be styling Page Goss of Goss Designs. Page has been with FDB as an artist, event designer, and now model.

“Feeling beautiful and confident in your own skin is more important than most give credit to. I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of design and aesthetics, but have found that confidence comes from within. When my mother was in the early stages of heart failure, and her body was failing her, doctors did not know what was wrong. She put on a suit everyday to practice law, her armor. She went to work and continued caring for two children in extreme pain. Luckily, she survived, but open heart surgery left her with many scars which she was ashamed of. She continued to put on a suit everyday and go to work. Her shirts were buttoned up to the neck to cover the scars. I always told her that those were her survivor scars, to be proud of them because she lived, she beat the odds. However, her suit remained her armor. For battling in a man’s world and practicing law, they were her armor for raising two kids as a single mother, they were her armor for hiding her scars. She felt confident in a suit and could take on the world even on the days she didn’t feel she could go on. I learned how powerful clothing could be, armor could be. When you feel confident in your skin, weather that is your body or your clothing, you are capable of anything. Everyday when I design clothing I aim to give the wearer an armor, a representation of themselves that makes them feel able to take on anything.” - Hillary Sampliner
