Hey Krewe of Seamen! If you’re joking us got the Coney Island Mermaid Parade, this is happening at the Brooklyn Museum. I’ll be attending Friday, June 15th, 12:30. Join us if you can!

The Brooklyn Museum is an art museum located in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. At 560,000 square feet, the museum is New York City's second largest in physical size and holds an art collection with roughly 1.5 million works.

Hey Krewe! Marching again in the Coney Island Mermaid Parade, mid June. Join us if you can make the trip.

Costume requirements- anything sea life, costume mostly white, pastel highlights.

One day I hope to march again as a Mardi Gras Krewe. Always my hope & will happen as soon as I can sail through the carnival costuming season.

Not Krewe of Seamen related. But still good news!
I am happy to report, Edie will be staying where she needs to be, in Baltimore. My Edie the Egg Lady painted screen dress will now be part of the permanent collection of AVAM!

We have completed wig! Many thanks to the exceptionally talented costumer Brigitta ter Wiel for her tip on using a disco ball motor for the rotation. (Music- Ladytron, Venus In Furs)

Headpiece/back piece for Vince's costume. Yes the tail curls backwards opposite of what we think of seahorses, but the has to be parade walkable
