Today is Women’s Equality Day, a reminder that equality is about more than opening doors. It’s about changing the systems that determine who can walk through them, and who has to choose between parts of their life to stay there.
For mothers in sport, equality can look like access to childcare, time to recover, places to breastfeed or pump, pregnancy and postpartum support, flexible policies, and coaches and organizations that recognize motherhood as part of an athlete’s life.
At For All Mothers+, the belief is simple: mothers should not have to choose between caring for their families and pursuing the things that matter to them.
Whether that means running a marathon, competing at the highest level, building a career, coaching a team, or simply having the time and support to move their bodies, motherhood should not be a barrier.
Equality means building systems where mothers can thrive, not asking mothers to do more with less 💜.
