One of the reasons SEE exists is simple: we want more riders to feel like they have a place in this sport.

To learn. To grow. To compete. To make friends. And to experience everything that comes with being part of the equestrian community.

See the Change. Be an Ally.

A Strides family reunion at the horse show this weekend.

Alumni, coaches, families and friends showed up to ride, cheer each other on and spend the weekend together.

This is one of our favorite things about Strides for Equality. The impact doesn’t end when a program does. The relationships continue, the support continues, and our community keeps growing.

Because Strides has always been about more than getting people in the saddle. It’s about making sure more people know there’s a place for them in the equestrian community.

Yes 💜

Whether it's eventing, dressage, hunter/jumper — or all of the above — BIPOC riders are out here showing up and showing OUT in every arena, every ring, and every discipline.

And Strides for Equality is making sure they have every opportunity to do it 🏆

See the Change. Be an Ally.

Horse riding isn’t easy. It takes sweat, patience, and a whole lot of passion 🐎💜

How it started vs How it's going

2020-2026: Fully funded camps. World-class coaches. Scholarship recipients competing at recognized shows across the country. A Games Team at the Virginia Commonwealth Games. A co-founder winning the Anne Butler Historian Award. BIPOC riders finding community, family, and a sport that finally sees them.

Five years of showing up — loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.
And this? This is still just the beginning. 🏆

Drop a 💜 if you've been riding with us since the beginning.

And if you're just finding us — welcome. The best is still ahead.

See the Change. Be an Ally.
