And we saw blast off for opening night for You Realy Suck, a gay vampire musical written by Ben Fox and directed by Kendra Unique Wills. I’m incredibly proud of the hard work that our cast, director, and stage managers have put into making this play the best it can be!

Introducing: Lindsay Kaufman

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

Lindsay (she/her), co-founder of Foxtrot Stage Productions and producer of You Really Suck, will join us as The Swamp Monster

Co-founder Lindsay Kaufman is an artist, actor, producer, andactivist based in New Orleans, LA. Notably, she co-produced and co-directed Killing Christmas and Personal Space with Foxtrot Stage Productions. Lindsay's passion for theatre is also evident through her stage management credits, which include Sweet Bird of Youth, Killing Christmas, and Personal Space. Additionally, Lindsay has served as assistant stage manager for several local productions including The Night of the Iguana, The Play That Goes Wrong, Clothes for a Summer Hotel, and Tribes. She is currently studying acting under Doug Spearman and made her theatre debut in Foxtrot Stage Production's most recent production, Go Cup, as well as performing in Goat in the Road's Playwrite productions. Lindsay is dedicated to the performing arts and committed to creating an inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her journey reflects her unwavering dedication to both her craft and the values of diversity and representation in the arts.

We’re so excited to have Ace (He/him) join us as Mike and Zeke

Ace McConnell is making his debut with Foxtrot Stage Productions this year. He’s very grateful to work with them and for the opportunity to take part in such a skilled ensemble. Some previous works he’s done include Legally Blond, Footloose, and original works within the Loyola University Theater and Arts Department. He hopes that everyone who sees "You Really Suck" loves it as much as he has loved being in it!

Introducing: Sara Caitlin Ritsch

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

We’re so excited to have Sara Caitlin (she/her) join us as Chase

Sara Caitlin Ritsch (she/her) is a classically trained vocalist and actor from Fort Worth, Texas. From a young age, SC studied musical theater and toured nationally and internationally with Kids Who Care Performing Arts. She went on to study jazz voice in college and has since sung with the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, in the orchestra pit at Jefferson Performing Arts Center, and for various songwriters and jazz ensembles. She is the co-founder and director of a small community protest choir called the Soapbox Choir and occasionally conducts the No-Law Anti-State Choir. Her recent reentry to the musical theater world includes the accomplishments of being cast in “EF! The Musical” in New England two years in a row, multiple drunk readings for Pomegranate Playhouse, and “Young Frankenstein” and “Jesus Christ Superstar” with Jefferson Performing Arts Society. The stage brings SC a grounded confidence and peace that is unmatched elsewhere, and she is grateful to have another opportunity to perform.

Introducing: Juniper Cassaway

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

We’re so excited to have Juniper Cassaway (they/he) join us as Rhonda

Juniper Cassaway (they/he) is a Black, disabled, q***r, neurodivergent, trans non-binary creative from Houston, TX. In addition to working as a sign language interpreter, Juni is also a playwright and poet who has written, directed, and produced three original plays, and self published their debut poetry book in 2019. Their favorite shows to perform in have been Heathers (2017), Rocky Horror Picture Show (2020), and RENT (2023)! In his free time, Juni enjoys sewing, reading, and playing with his cats. Juniper would like to thank their friends and q***r/trans community for their unending support in everything they do!

Introducing: Donovan Lawson

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

We’re so excited to have Donovan join us as Trent

Donovan is a lifelong singer, instrumentalist, and performer. His journey began in Saint Louis, where he: sang in church choir and musicals, took 4 years of piano lessons, and played trombone throughout primary school. His education continued at Missouri State University, at which he took part in various types of bands and vocal ensembles.
Donovan transplanted to New Orleans to expand musical horizons and experience a culture different than his upbringing. Currently, he sings at St. Paul's episcopal church and plays trombone with La Tran-k band and Revel Force Brass Band.
His fondness to LGBTQIA+ narratives unites with his passion for unifying humanity through music in the debut production of You Really Suck.

Introducing: Olivia Sabo-Rush

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

We’re so excited to have Olivia Sabo-Rush (she/her) join us as Rachel

Olivia Sabo-Rush, or Liv, is a New Orleans based performer whose talents include acting, standup comedy, improv comedy, web design, graphic design, jewelry design, sewing, and a variety of dance styles. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from California Institute of the Arts, Liv followed opportunities as a dancer in New Orleans. She has also performed in Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Seoul. Liv started working with Foxtrot earlier this year, building their website and performing in Go-Cup. She is so excited to be a part of You Really Suck.

Hihi I’m Keke! I was an avid Disney fan as a kid so it’s natural I fell into acting. And singing. Currently working on dancing. I have been in a few local productions over the years, and hope to be apart of more wonderful productions such as this one. I like to read, bake, and do yoga in my free time :)

Introducing: Sky

Meet the Cast 👋 YOU REALLY SUCK ⚰️🧛‍♂️🩸

We’re so excited to have Sky (she/her) join us as Heather

Sky is thrilled to reunite with Foxtrot Productions years after originating the role of Jeanette in the production company’s first show Personal Space.

Having studied vampires on a graduate level at Carnegie Mellon University, this amateur vampire connoisseur is extremely grateful for hitting it off with creator Ben Fox all those years ago in “Transylvania” (aka Jefferson Performing Arts Society’s 2019 production of The Rocky Horror Show) and is happy that he trusts her with the role of Heather.

She would like to thank Ben, Lindsay, and Kirkland for encouraging her to perform again and the entire cast and crew for providing such a welcoming, positive, and professional creative space. “Ya’ll don’t really suck!”
