It's not unusual for our "homies"
to offer us something in return for food and water. Usually, something simple just to say thank you.

Tonight, we got something special from a man celebrating his 61st birthday: a vintage 1980 debloon thrown during that year's Mardi Gras parade by the Krewe of Endymion. These are prized collectibles among locals. He also offered us one from 1969 that we had to decline as one was more than generous to say "thank you" and share a festive moment.
