Empowering kids and teens through golf ⛳️

First Tee Greater New Orleans received an official designation as a Chapter in December 2003 through the efforts of a private-public partnership of golf enthusiasts, non-profit organizations and the City of New Orleans. The Chapter is now an independent, non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors under the umbrella of First Tee, which is a nationwide initiative of the World Golf Foun

dation. Each Chapter operates with relative autonomy within First Tee Network and is responsible for raising funds to cover capital and operating expenses.

A First Tee – Greater New Orleans alum and Chapter Ambassador, Logan spent 10 years in our program developing the skills, confidence, and perseverance that continue to guide him today as a professional golfer on the APGA Tour.

⛳️ Congratulations to our ACE participants, Abigail Wilson and Addison Ferreras, on being selected to attend the First Tee Game Changers Academy! 💚

The Game Changers Academy is a transformative five-day leadership experience that brings together teens from First Tee chapters across the country. Through hands-on workshops, meaningful discussions, and team-building activities, participants develop skills in self-awareness, inclusive leadership, and community engagement while building friendships with peers from across the United States.

Opportunities like this are what make our ACE Program so special. Beyond learning the game of golf, ACE prepares teens for life by connecting them with national leadership experiences, college and career readiness resources, mentors, and opportunities that help them grow into confident leaders.

We are incredibly proud of Abigail and Addison for representing First Tee – Greater New Orleans on the national stage, and we can't wait to see how they continue to make an impact in our community. 💚⛳️

Former NFL player and sports analyst Ryan Clark stopped by our APGA x First Tee Greater New Orleans Clinic to spend time with our participants, and it was a moment they won't soon forget. 💚

Meeting role models who have turned hard work into success reminds our participants that their goals are possible with dedication, perseverance, and character.

⛳️ Our PGA Jr. League participants in action! 💚

There's nothing better than watching these young golfers compete, encourage one another, and grow their love for the game. Every practice and every match is an opportunity to build confidence, sharpen skills, and create lasting friendships.

Thanks to our partnership with PGA Jr. League and the generous support of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, we're able to make this incredible experience accessible to more families. Together, we're opening the door for more kids to be part of a team, compete in matches, and experience all that the game of golf has to offer.

We're proud of every one of our players and can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings! ⛳️💚

That's a wrap on First Tee Summer Camp! ☀️⛳💚

What a summer! Over the past several weeks, our campers explored museums, made homemade pizzas, cooled off with pool days, visited the zoo, played lots of golf, and, most importantly, built friendships that will last long after camp ends.

Thank you to our campers, families, coaches, volunteers, and community partners for making this summer one to remember. We'll see you on the course this fall! 💚
