STEM Global Action STEM Global Action is a network and campaign that pursues the advancement of STEM education. The STEM NOLA team runs SGA.

STEM NOLA is a national leader in the design and delivery of STEM-based activities, programs and events to K-12 students, families and communities. Participants receive a unique interactive, hands-on learning experience that allows learners of all ages to deepen their knowledge in STEM studies, gain confidence in their abilities and chart a course for career opportunities in STEM fields. Help inspire the next generation of innovators at STEM Saturday: Hydraulics & Simple Machines on Saturday, August 22 in Baton Rouge!

We're looking for volunteers to help students build and test their own hydraulic bridges while exploring the exciting world of engineering through hands-on STEM activities.

💵 Undergraduate college students who volunteer will receive a $50 digital stipend!

Empowering educators with innovative tools is one of the most impactful ways to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.

STEM NOLA | STEM Global Action recently partnered with Key Academy for a professional development session led by our Technology Manager Barry McGuire, Senior Programs Coordinator Sergio Silva, After School Programs Coordinator Keivondra Collins, and Video Production Manager Brett Rosenbach. During the session, educators explored the possibilities of 3D printing and emerging technologies, gaining hands-on experience and practical strategies for bringing these tools into the classroom.

When teachers have access to engaging, real-world STEM experiences, they are better equipped to spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving in their students.

A special thank you to Louisiana Key Academy for partnering with us and for your commitment to creating innovative learning opportunities for both educators and students. We look forward to continuing to work together to make STEM education accessible, engaging, and impactful.

What does it take to bring a STEM Day to life?

This week, our staff and interns rolled up their sleeves for a training session on The Science of Natural Gas, where they worked on preparation for the big day to ensure that every student has an exciting, high-quality, hands-on learning experience.

Every build is designed to turn STEM concepts into exciting and interactive learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire future innovators.
