Register now for the 9th annual NOLA Dogs “Race to the Rescue” 5K Run/Walk presented by NOLA Dogs Charitable Giving. Join us on Sunday, Oct. 11
at Heaven's Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie for a family-friendly morning of fitness and fun to celebrate our Greater New Orleans pet community.

Race proceeds will help cover vet bills and other expenses for our shelter dogs and cats at
Trampled Rose Rescue & Rehab as well as Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO), Zeus' Rescues, and Take Paws Rescue. Proceeds will also help The Inner Pup provide struggling pet owners with heartworm & flea prevention treatments. We hope to see you at Race to the Rescue on Oct.11!

Registration is now open and all are invited to get ready to make a difference and have a great time at the 9th annual NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue 5K for Animal Rescue on Sunday, Oct. 11.

This race takes you through the historic grounds of Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery, hosted by Heaven’s Pets, where every step you take helps save animals in need.

Since the race benefits the furry and four-legged residents of the city, the organizers are calling on all animal lovers to join the cause and be part of the solution to help the pets of New Orleans. While it’s not a requirement, they ask for participants to commit to raising at least $100 AND if you hit $250 or more, your registration is FREE. Whether you join in for the chip-timed race or choose the virtual option, your participation will directly support rescue efforts.
