Today was an AMAZING DAY! HCSNola HCSNola & I were recognized as a Small Business Hero for the climate resilience work we do in the Thank You Intuit QuickBooks Intuit Mailchimp for honoring our impact to mitigate adverse weather events. Another Transformation. 1900 Blk of Allen St. So, this was a concrete removal and Turfgrid Permeable Pavers. This was a two-part process: excavation, and backfilled with bioretention soil and #57 Limestone then finished with the Turfgrid Permeable Pavers that can withstand the weight of the homeowner's vehicle. I'm pleased to announce that I've been selected to GANBASE. This opportunity will take me to Northern Germany and the Upper Mississippi River Water Shed in Minneapolis,MN and Duluth, MN to study the coastal challenges, eco-systems and nature-based solutions. It was great day in Eunice, LA. The HCSNola Team and Water Wise Gulf South 7th Ward Neighborhood Champions spent the day at the Louisiana Native Plant Society Conference. It was a wonderful day of learning and professional development.

Congratulations Xavier University of Louisiana on the 19th Annual Conference on Health Disparity. This morning I had the priviledge to present with Wadsworth, Dr Baquet, Dr Williams (moderated by Geno McLaughlin). We had conversations, with participants regarding the importance of advocating for quality health care to close the gaps in access to care; provide more inclusivity of under represented populations in clinical research trials; and recognizing disparites, implicit and explicit bias in the health care delivery. CALL TO ACTION: "Start Calling Out" the Actions and Inactions of Health Care Systems, Researchers and Providers that don't provide equitable access and care. .
