City Selects Clutch Consulting Group to Take Action on Homelessness
NEW ORLEANS - On Friday, the City selected Clutch Consulting Group, led by Mandy Chapman Semple, to develop and implement an immediate and long-term plan to address homelessness in New Orleans. Since early in her term, District B Councilmember Lesli Harris has been pushing the City to take swift action to create more affordable housing units and reduce street homelessness, particularly along the Calliope corridor in District B. Mandy Chapman Semple has extensive experience in this work, with proven success in housing tens of thousands in Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Chicago, and the State of Hawaii.

Like many of you the homeless situation across this country and in my hometown it is terrible. Where I live I have some homeless people stop by and now and then I will pay them to do chores around the house. They are not bad people and it is not contagious (as my homeless friend Richard said). So I am posting a picture of Richard (yes I asked him if I could). Since I have realized that everyone has a friend, family member, or just someone on the street who they might want people to know. I do not know what I can do about the homeless situation in this country, but I thought this might help to remember them and put a "face on them"..They are people too and are not going away...
